ACSI Distinguished High School Student Award Program

The Association of Christian Schools International honors exemplary juniors and seniors in ACSI member high schools.  The program provides these select students with the opportunity to receive communication from ACSI member colleges and universities in North America who utilize this valuable resource to recruit Christian high school students for their degree programs. 

Students are nominated by teachers and administration in the school and are selected based on the following qualifications:

  • Must be juniors or seniors,
  • Must have a minimum of two teacher recommendations (for any or all categories nominated),
  • Must have the approval of the administrator (for any or all categories nominated),
  • Must in the top 10 percent of their class in one or more of the following areas:
    • Academics – based on cumulative GPA
    • Leadership – MUST be actively involved in community service or ministry related activities
    • Fine arts (music, art, drama)
    • Athletics – MUST be actively participating in school team/individual sports and/or intramurals
    • Christian Service - MUST have a clear Christian service and Christian testimony and MUST be actively involved in community service or ministry related activities
