Award of Merit/Diploma with Honors Award

Historically, the State Board of Education has encouraged excellence in both college preparatory and career-technical curriculum. Outstanding students may receive special recognition from the State Board of Education for their achievements through the State Board of Education's Award of Merit and/or Diploma with Honors program.

The Award of Merit and the Diploma with Honors is available for students who meet the specified performance criteria and either the College Preparatory or the Career-Technical Curriculum Requirements. 

The Award of Merit and the Diploma with Honors provide students with an excellent opportunity to receive extra recognition for their total educational achievements.
